Are Your Streams Experiencing a Drought?
In 2008, meteorologists deemed that we were experiencing a drought in my area. Rain had not been in abundance, to say the least. As a result, government officials all across the state put in place water restrictions for local residents, telling them when they were able to water lawns, etc. Also, grass, trees, crops suffered as well as water levels in lakes and rivers diminished.
Just as these dire events occur in nature, so our lives spiritually experience a drought. Our Rivers are drying up! Our rivers are our supply for total prosperity in our lives.
God wants us to rule and have dominion over the earth. We are to be the head and not the tail…above and not beneath….blessed coming in, blessed coming out. Why do some of us speak those words, but our actions or lifestyles don’t reflect these proclamations?
We are not only to be prepared for and make things happen now…but our plans and actions are to have longevity, so we can pass on to our children, children’s children, etc.
God does not want His people to be in lack, to be broke, to struggle financially.
God gives us the tools, creativity, and gifts to create wealth, abundance and empowerment. We should be creating multiple streams of income. Gone are the days where having a nine to five and an “ok” retirement plan fits the bill. That is just false image of happiness and security that can be wiped away at a moment’s notice. If that happens…what will happen to you? What type of legacy are you leaving to those that will follow you?
Where is the Rain in Your Life?
It is time to open up and replenish the river and allow your streams to flow!!!!
If you haven’t already, get connected with God and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you concerning the direction you are to take in your streams. Once it is revealed, set a plan to work the vision. Also, clean up those areas that are out of alignment with God’s will (pay off debts, fix credit, etc). This of course requires knowledge, discipline, tenacity, perseverance, patience and sacrifice!! Remember-- All things that are truly successful don’t happen overnight! Don’t procrastinate on the ideas and plans that God gives you. Time is of the essence!!
