The Pin Drop Syndrome
We have all heard the phrase "it is so quiet you can hear a pin drop". Silence does have its moment in our lives, where ultimate peace rests within. Although silence can be golden, there are sometimes in llife where silence can take a different turn-- an awkwardness that creeps into your mind.
So what do you do when you speak to God, and you don't hear anything? Do
you worry? Do you wonder if there is something going on in your life that
is hindering you from hearing Him? Well relax....don't worry....don't
fret!! Contrary to how you may feel, God has it all under control.
You see, when you reach those silent moments in your life...when it seems
as though no one is around, friends are gone, and God is not returning
dialogue to you, realize that it is not anything you have done...it is
turning up the soil in your life; shaking up the familiar and getting the
ground ready to plant new seeds in your life, so that you can grow and
flourish to the next level!
I know that it can feel painful, because we are creatures of habit and
don't welcome change with open arms. But hold fast to what is ahead for
your life, not what you see and feel right now. Understand that in the end
All things work out for the good (Romans 8:28). Yield to the changes that
are taking place within you and around you. Don't fight to keep those doors
open--let them close!! As you recieve what God is doing...something on the
inside of you will resonate to say--I am ready for my change! I am ready
for my breakthrough! Your mind will begin to emulate the mind of Christ.
Breathe the Air of Expectation in your atmosphere!!!
