Now I am sure, that
the title of this post makes you probably think twice. You may even say to
yourself, “Why would I want to do that? My failures have cost me______ , or are the reason why I can’t move forward to
do__________.” Often times, even though we speak one thing, we are actually attracted
to our failures, and may not even realize it. As much as we say that we hate them, we tend
to have them around too long, especially in a negative manner.
You can do one of two
things with failures. You can have a pity party with them, or you can rise
above them.
I want you to give
your failures (past, current, AND future) a standing ovation. YES. Applause.
Whistles. Bravo. Encore! Why? Because these are the things that are going to
grow you, and aid in molding you into the very essence of why God purpose you
on this earth – for such a time as this.
Think about this: If
you never had failures, you may have never had the opportunity to learn or grow
in a specific area. What tries to trip you up and stop you, should be the very
thing that makes you stronger. It should make you want to do better, and be
better.
From this point on,
purpose in your heart to not fear your failures, but to face them, fix them,
and push past them. Be encouraged. You WILL make mistakes. When you do turn
them around to mold you!
