Finding You!
Once upon a time, there was a person who existed—YOU. You were on top of your game, did all the right things, said all the right things, looked and played the part. But slowly day by day, life situations and circumstances began to chisel away for your very being. Your life essentially began to dismantle. You may have loss a job. You may have encountered turmoil, or the loss of a relationnship. People in your life may have told you that you aren’t about anything, that the ideas that you have about life goals are worthless, that you can’t do a thing. You allowed all these things to break through the strong barrier of amour that you used to wear. The fight you used to have, no longer exists, as you began to wave a white surrender flag, feeling as though you want to give up. You wake up one morning and think just long enough of how things used to be, and ask yourself--What has REALLY happened to me?
Understand this—you can get your life back on track and become BETTER than you used to be. The faith, perseverance, drive in you IS NOT DEAD—it is merely lying dormant, waiting anxiously for you to stir it up.
Now, how do you get the pot boiling back in your life, so that you may conquer all that God has for you?
1) Declare Enough Is Enough! No matter how low you are, no matter of confusing things may be, no matter how much chaos is staring you in the face—determine that TODAY is the last day that things are like this!!
2) Ask God to reveal to you the root of how things have gotten the way they were. Perhaps it could simply be the STRENGTH of your relationship with God. You used to be on fire, but now you have become extremely lukewarm, or better yet, cold as ice. As a result, every area of your life has suffered. Or perhaps it is outside influences (people in your circle), that you have allowed to move you away for your course. Whatever the case, once revealed, remove it, and continually take action to renew your mind and will away from those actions or thoughts.
3) Take note of where you are, and what needs to be improved. Acknowledge the areas in your life where you may have fallen off “wagon”. Write them down, so you may have a clear understanding of what needs to be rearranged, or changed.
4) Create a plan of action to get you back to you. Now would be a great time to pick up and revisit those dreams and goals you had and still see if they still fit in where God is taking you or need to be tweaked.
5) Going forward-stop listening to all the negative things people may say to you. Yes, you may have had problems, some of the things may have been accurate, but the thing is to not take them in and let them grow in you!!! You have made a decision to CHANGE. Also, understand what is constructive criticism or things that are just plain mean and are trying to throw you off your course.
Remember, all is not lost. You are WHO God says you Are!!! Begin to walk in it NOW.
“God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him. When I got my act together, he gave me a fresh start. Now I'm alert to God's ways; I don't take God for granted. Every day I review the ways he works; I try not to miss a trick. I feel put back together, and I'm watching my step. God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.”

Vision Flatlined!
Approximately 8 years ago, she stepped out on uttermost faith, left corporate America to pursue this vision. I would say for the first 1-3 years, she barely broke even on profit. But, suddenly all things appeared to fall in sync, and she catapulted into success that she barely could handle!! As the money began to flow, she finally felt at home, as if she had arrived. Fast forward, to now. The fire is gone, the vision is all but a memory, and a trickle of money is being made. This brings me to the conversation at hand. As she reflected on the mountain highs and the valley lows on the past several years, she concluded, “I feel like I am working on fumes and it is never getting any better. Once my vision was extremely lively, vibrant, but now….it is running on life support, on the verge of flat lining. How did I allow this to happen?”
It got me to thinking. What makes things like this happen? Of course, for example, when starting a for profit business, sometimes that economy and the changes in supply and demand can somewhat dictate success. But, in her case, what if the changes are not economically driven? What if what you are involved in has nothing to do with any outside influences or circumstances? What if, it is just you?
A vision is a powerful thing. It is even more powerful once it is manifested. Often times, it doesn’t manifest, or if it does, it doesn’t live out its maximum potential. When God infused you with the vision, it was on fire!! All you could see was the end result. Now, all have that is pushing you is barely a smoldering ember. How do you get the life back into your vision?
*Revisit your original vision. Are all parts still in line with where it needs to go? Sometimes a little tweaking of the plans will bring an immeasurable amount of life to a stale dream.
*Don’t let outside influences or people deter you from fulfillment. There will always be something or someone to roadblock you from you divine assignment. Take the necessary changes in your life, to eliminate those things and people who are not cheerleading (encouraging) or not volunteering in your success.
*Keep your eyes focused on the end. No matter how things may look, how slow the pieces come together, realize that patience is to be utilized in the process. Don’t push it before it is time, don’t get discouraged by what you think should be your timeline. God has it all under control. Follow Him in the process, and He will reveal to you HIS timeline.
*Believe it! Sometimes a mind shift is all it takes to breathe life back into your vision! Pray, and speak life into those stagnant places!!
As you begin to implement these steps, you will begin to see life changing results! Nothing will be impossible for you to complete going forward! Favor is on your side!!!
For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. Habakkuk 2:3 (AMP)

Spring Is In You!

Spring is in the Air! I just love the springtime! It is so exhilarating to feel the temperature changes, see the flowers and trees bloom, and to see the sunshine a bit longer each day!
Spring is also signifies the task we know and begin all so well—Spring Cleaning! In addition, along with general season changes, often times we take time to evaluate where we are in life, make necessary adjustments, and adjust and replenish areas in our lives as necessary, so we can continue to grow!
Although spring has been in session for a few weeks now, you still have the opportunity to do a complete Spring Clean Overhaul!! Listed below are some steps that you can take to revive, rejuvenate, and refresh your life, so that you may be more focused and in sync than ever:
1) Review and change your exercise and eating habits to create an optimal healthy lifestyle!
2) Do an appearance self check: take a look at your hairstyle, clothes, and nails, and see how you can improve your appearance.
3) Look at all your relationships with family, friends, acquaintances etc, co-workers, etc, and see how you can remove or improve!
4) Do closet inventory. Get rid of all those clothes you no longer wear, and those clothes you are STILL holding onto, waiting to lose weight to wear again.
5) Review your leisure and lifestyle balance—increase things that bring more fun, joy, adventure and more time spent with family and friends.
6) Review personal finances and income, see how to increase, remove debt and build great wealth to build a lasting legacy for you and your family.
7) Adjust your emotional health and self care where necessary—increase personal self confidence, personal expectations and standards, decrease stress, low self esteem.
8) Create and maintain a systematic way to keep a clean house, office and car.
9) Take care of any and all old or lingering issues that are plaguing or hindering you—in your financial, personal, emotional, physical, spiritual, and professional life
10) Think nothing but great thoughts, great belief, great expectations, great faith for your life!
Incorporate these simple strategies in your life---be joyful in all that you say and all that you do, and in no time—you will start to have an entirely different outlook and manifestations will begin on the life that you deserve!!

How's Your Taste Buds?

I am sure that we have heard that phrase, “I want _____ so bad that I can taste it! You have pushed, pressed, pursued, persevered, and you envision the day to come. In your mind…you have your place setting is ready—you have your plate out, silverware, cup and napkin, ready to dig in…and then suddenly you discover that what you had a taste for, what was once so tantalizing, so rich, so delicious…suddenly becomes bland, stale sour!! Well, what happened to the “filet mignon” that you were salivating over turns into potted meat? It is not that the meat that changed, it is you!!! Somewhere along the way, you lost your intensity, your passion, you lost your direction, you lost your focus, and you lost your balance! In short—who or what did you allow to change the menu of your life??
Somewhere along the way you have allowed someone or something distract you, take you off the course that you have been focused on. You ended up tasting someone else's plate, ate of it, and it has caused you a “virus” with serious side effects---vomiting (complaining), a headache (frustration), queasiness (worry), fatigue (procrastination) and which has led you searching for a cure!!
You have had the cure all along...you just thought it was “too hard” and thought there was a better, easier way...a better, easier way to lose that weight, a better, easier way to build that successful business, a better, easier way to write that book, a better way to ________________ . Sure, there are better and easier ways to do things, but when GOD puts you on a certain path, there is not a guarantee that YOUR way will be the better, easier way. Rest assured that God’s way is the BEST way. Don’t be discouraged or entangled in despair of the path you have to take to get to where you need to be. Rid yourself of those things and/or people who allowed you to lose your focus, your passion, your vision in the first place!!! Put the work in, be patience and most of all have faith! God knows what He is doing and knows what is best for our lives, more than we can ever imagine or think!

Life Cleaning!

Are there things in your life that you need to throw out? What type of trash do you have still sitting around—negative thoughts, bitterness, hurt, jealousy, in your mind, in your body, in your spirit? What circumstances are creating a hindrance in your life? Who do you still have attached to your life that needs to be cut off? It doesn't have to be spring to do your spring cleaning---start today!!!
Evaluate and pray about what you need to throw out:
1)Relationships. What relationships are you holding onto, or what relationships are hindering you? Not everyone in your life should be walking with you, or be in your circle of influence. You need people who are at the very least, going where you are going, or have already arrived to where you are trying to go! Some relationships are only seasonal—has it run its course? Don’t try to hold onto relationships that should be over (or never should of began)—allow those to be let go, or initiate the let go, so that God may bring those in your life who will be an asset to your destiny!
2)“You” Dreams/Visions—not all dreams or visions that you have are of God. Sure they may sound nice, and probably would be an asset to the kingdom…but is it what God is calling for YOU to do? Pray and ask God to line up your will with His will.
3)Emotional dysfunctions---negative thoughts, bitterness, jealousy, worry, doubt, anger, dishonesty, and bad attitudes have no place in your God given destiny, and your walk. These things will be a great hindrance and a blocker to what God is trying to do in your life! Release all the emotional negativity that you have and replace it with the Fruits of the Spirit—happiness, peace, joy, meekness. Think positive thoughts! Proclaim those things and situations in your life to be turned around! Start walking in total victory now!
4)Tangible mess/clutter---Get order in your home, office, even your car! God expects us to be good stewards over everything that we have, no matter how small. If we aren’t taking care of these things, how can we expect Him to bless us with greater things? Throw away that old/unwanted mail or papers. Give away those clothes that you know you aren’t going to wear anymore. Maintain a clean house, office, car. If Jesus were your special guest, what sign would your house/office/car give off?
5)Maintain your house temple---how are you taking care of yourself? If your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and you belong to Him…what type of message are you sending out concerning your health? Get rid of the bad habits, and begin and maintain a healthy lifestyle of eating right, exercising, and getting the proper sleep.
Get your life in order to become the BEST that God has called you to be!!!!

What Box?

Often times you have heard or may have used the phrase, “Think outside the Box”.
My question today is…What Box?
Who says that it has to be a box when it comes to God! The Almighty, All Powerful, All knowing, All Mighty King of Kings, Lord of Lords, wants you to break the bondage and limitations in your life! Stop thinking with limits—With God, there are NO limits!! Stop thinking small minded. Small minds= Small thoughts=Small results!! God has more than equipped us to break all barriers, break every pre-conceived notion, and break all mindsets that would stop you from doing the unimaginable, the unheard, and the unthinkable!!!
We create a box in our minds, saying that we can’t accomplish this, we can’t finish that, we are not qualified to begin this, with so many excuses attached to as why. Says who??? YOU! You are stopping YOU from going forward and moving into your destiny and purpose!! Stop looking at what things look like in the natural, how you think things will be in the future! Don’t set yourself up for failure before you even try!
I challenge you to take every box that you have created in your mind and destroy it!!
You are no longer bound! Walk in your God’s given ability, walk in your freedom to do and be what He has called you to!!
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1
